Microdermabrasion is a system of intense exfoliation which rejuvenates the skin.

It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin resulting in a firmer, more youthful looking skin.

Who is it for

Microdermabrasion is beneficial for everyone, it improves the overall appearance of the skin, giving it a healthy glow and youthful appearance.  It is also very effective in treating the following skin conditions.

Dull Tired Skin

Ageing Skin

Sun Damage

Stretch Marks

Acne Scars

Pigmentation

Fine Lines

Wrinkles

Acne

Microdermabrasion is a holistic approach to skin rejuvenation.  We recommend a 6 week programme which involves weekly 30 minute treatments combined with simple lifestyle changes.

Microdermabrasion works by removing dead skin cells, each layer at a time, with the use of a fine jet of crystals gently striking the skin.  During this time there is also a vacuum which sweeps up the dead skin and the crystals.  This process encourages the production of collagen and elastin.  The results is younger looking skin.

Benefits of Microdermabrasion

A Microdermabrasion facial has no recovery time, is painless and non-invasive.  The treatments can be performed in a short amount of time - 30 minutes.  Is suitable for all skin types, showing immediate results, even after your first treatment.  Microdermabrasion is excellent for early signs of ageing and rejuvenates aged skin.  Elasticity and muscles are toned and improved.

Skin Conditions Microdermabrasion can Treat

Acne and Acne Scarring

The top layers of dead skin cells are removed from the surface, this unclogs the pores, reduces sebum production and makes future acne less frequent.

Uneven Skin Tone, Dry and Dehydrated Skin, Dull and Tired Skin

The skin renews itself approximately every 28 days.  By removal of the dead cells, the rate of renewal of the skin is increased, which in turn produces fresh radiant looking skin.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

The vacuum action of the treatments stimulates blood flow, which produces collagen.  With the stimulation of collagen and increased skin renewal the skin's surface smooths out, thereby reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Cellulite "Orange Peel Effect"

Microdermabrasion will not cure cellulite, but the stimulation of blood flow to the area will improve the appearance of cellulite.  Ensuring that you drink plenty of water and regularly will ensure that this is reinforced.

Stretch marks, Pigmentation and Blemishes

More collagen is produced due to the stimulation of Microdermabrasion treatment, thereby speeding up the skin renewal process. This provides improved skin condition and diminishes the appearance of stretch marks and discolouration of the skin.

Results are immediate, and each treatment will ensure your skin continues to look better.  After the treatment the skin may feel tight with mild redness.  It is very important to use a good moisturiser.
